General terms and conditions
AB Psychiatry & Psychology 2025
These general terms and conditions apply to all services offered by AB Psychiatrie & Psychologie, located at Betuwestraat 34, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 76589994. When making an appointment, the client declares that he or she agrees to these terms and conditions.
Services
AB Psychiatry & Psychology offers two types of courses:
Psychological consultation (regular treatment within general mental health care) – based on a valid referral letter, possibly reimbursed by the health insurer.
Coaching programs – focused on personal development and not reimbursed by health insurance.
Registration and intake
Registration is via the registration form on the website. For consultations in mental health care, a referral letter from the general practitioner is required. During an intake interview, it is determined whether treatment or coaching is appropriate. Both parties reserve the right to terminate the trajectory after the intake if there is no mutual agreement.
Treatment & coaching
Treatment takes place according to professional standards and guidelines. Coaching involves guidance without a medical diagnosis. Coaching is not intended for the treatment of mental disorders.
Duur en beëindiging

Een traject kan op elk moment door de cliënt worden beëindigd. De behandelaar kan het traject beëindigen indien er geen basis is voor voortzetting, bij herhaaldelijk niet verschijnen of bij ernstige verstoring van de samenwerking. Beëindiging gebeurt bij voorkeur in overleg.
Cancellation and no-show
Appointments can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. In case of cancellation within 24 hours or no-show without notice, €200 will be charged. These costs are not reimbursed by the health insurer.
Rates and payment
Fixed rates per session apply to coaching courses, which are communicated in advance.
For mental health consultations, an invoice is provided that the client submits to the health insurer.
Payment must be made within 14 days of invoice date. Late payment may result in administration charges and suspension of access to further sessions.
Reimbursement and deductible
With a suitable health insurance and referral letter, consultations within the gGZ can be partially reimbursed. The mandatory deductible of €385 (2025) applies. Coaching is not covered by the basic insurance and is entirely at your own expense.
Privacy and data management
Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). See the privacy statement on the website for more information. Files are stored in accordance with the statutory term of 15 years.
Liability
AB Psychiatrie & Psychologie is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Coaching is not a replacement for psychological treatment. The client remains responsible for his/her own decisions and behavior.
Complaints procedure
In case of complaints, it is requested to first consult with the practitioner. If this does not lead to a solution, contact can be made with a complaints officer via [mention professional association or complaints procedure].
Applicable law
All agreements are subject to Dutch law. Disputes will, if necessary, be submitted to the competent court in the district where the practice is established.
