No Contracts with Health Insurers
We have deliberately chosen not to enter into contracts with health insurers in the Netherlands. This avoids limitations such as restricted session durations, intake limitations, or treatment caps imposed by insurers. Without contracts, care can be fully tailored to your needs without interference from an insurance company. Without referral, support is possible world wide for health care professionals/lawyers/specialist and company employees in need for a senior psychiatrist.

Reimbursement by Health Insurers
Reimbursement for non-contracted care varies depending on the insurer and the type of policy in The Netherlands. A restitution policy usually reimburses 75–100%, an in-kind policy covers 60–75%.
Psychiatric and mental support for high-end professionals, is through own financial means.
Deductible
The compulsory deductible of the basic insurance also applies to gGGZ. In 2026, the minimum deductible is €385. If you have not used this amount before starting treatment, it will be at your own expense.
Tips
-
Contact your health insurer in advance to avoid unexpected costs.

Consider choosing a restitution policy with free provider choice and the lowest possible deductible.
-
